Powerex STSV0502 5HP Oilless Scroll Air Compressor on 60 Gallon Vertical Tank, 15.2cfm 3 Phase 

The Powerex STSV0502 is a 5hp oil free scroll air compressor mounted on a 60 gallon vertical air receiver. This is a 3 phase air compressor rated to displace 15.2cfm at 100psi.

The STSV0502 is mounted on a 60 gallon vertical receiver tank. The tank is equipped with a pressure gauge, safety relief valve, discharge shutoff valve and a receiver drain. The vertical receiver tank reduces floor space and provides increased installation flexibility. The larger tank results in less cycling of the compressor motor and more air available during peak demand. An air cooled aftercooler is included to lower the discharge temperature of the compressed air. This results in ~70% less moisture getting downstream. An electronic timer drain is installed on the receiver tank to automatically drain any condensate from the tank.

Scroll compressors are completely oil-less so there is no risk of oil or coolant contamination downstream – this means less maintenance required, less filtration is needed, and there is no need for oil-water separators – all resulting in a more environmentally friendly operation.

The Powerex Scroll Compressor offers a dynamically balanced air end which insures vibration-free operation. The rotary design permits a continuous 100% duty cycle. No oil separation, oil filtration, or inlet valves are required on the Powerex scroll compressor.

This model is available in 208v, 230v and 460v three phase power. A magnetic motor starter with overload protection is pre-installed prior to shipping and wired based on your buildings power.

Two pressure setpoints are available on the STSV0502 5hp compressor depending on your sites psi requirements. 116psi is the most common but this is also available in a 145psi configuration.
