Powerex’s simplex scroll tank mounted air compressors are perfect for any application where clean dry air is required. Scroll compressors are 100% oil-free so there is no risk of contamination downstream – this means less maintenance required, less filtration is needed, and there is no need for oil-water separators – all resulting in a more environmentally friendly operation.

The Powerex Oilless Rotary Scroll Air Compressor has advanced scroll compressor technology through the development of a completely oilless unit. The Powerex Scroll Compressor offers a dynamically balanced air end which insures vibration-free operation. The rotary design permits a continuous 100% duty cycle. No oil separation, oil filtration, or inlet valves are required on the Powerex scroll compressor.

The compressor is tank mounted on a 30 gallon horizontal receiver tank. An air cooled aftercooler is included to lower the discharge temperature of the compressed air. This results in ~70% less moisture getting downstream. An electronic timer drain is installed on the receiver tank to automatically drain any condensate from the tank.

The STS1301 is 208-230v single phase power. A magnetic motor starter with overload protection is pre-installed prior to shipping. This model utilizes the popular SLAE03E scroll airend.

Two pressure setpoints are available on the STS1301 3hp compressor depending on your sites psi requirements. 116psi is the most common but this is also available in a 145psi configuration.
