Shipping Info

Order Processing & Shipping Times

  • Order Processing Hours: We process and ship orders Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Pacific Time. Orders for items in stock placed before 11:00am Pacific Time should ship out the same day.
  • Processing Time: Most in-stock items are processed and shipped same day or within 1 business day. Larger orders and orders for equipment may take up to two business days to process depending on the item and complexity.
  • Out-of-Stock Items: Orders including out-of-stock items may be processed the following business day. We'll notify you within a couple of business days if there are any delays beyond two days.

Free Shipping Orders

Portland Compressor offers free UPS Ground and USPS shipping on most retail orders valued over $199 (excluding tax). When processing your order, Portland Compressor reserves the right to select the shipping carrier based on your location and items ordered.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, free ground shipping is only available within the lower 48 states (Alaska and Hawaii are excluded).

Expedited shipping may also be available. Customers are responsible for the full shipping cost of any expedited shipping which is calculated by destination, package weight and dimensions.

Items that ship for free do not qualify for free return shipping. See our Return Policy

Non-Free Shipping Orders

Orders valued less than $199 will have shipping options and costs provided during the checkout process.

Please note that free shipping is not available on all products. Some heavier items that ship UPS and oversized items that must ship via LTL/Freight Truck may not qualify. Please contact us if you would like a shipping estimate on these items.

Items that do not qualify for free shipping will be marked on the product page.

International Shipments

Due to regulatory requirements and restrictions from manufacturers we do not ship outside of the United States.

Shipping Damage

Although uncommon, damage can occur during the shipping process. Depending on how the product was shipped, we will need specific information from you to rectify the issue as soon as possible:

  • UPS/USPS Shipments: You may refuse the shipment if the driver is still on site. If the package has been dropped off and the driver has left, please take photos of the packaging and product damage. Some concealed damage may not be readily apparent - carefully remove all packaging and set aside, then thoroughly inspect the contents for damage. Please keep all packaging and the shipping box. If the packaging is discarded before any damage claims are resolved, that will lessen our chances of a successful claim and delay any replacement shipments. Please contact us within two days, so we can make arrangements to remedy the situation ASAP. Pictures are worth a thousand words - the more information and pictures we have will help us provide a solution much quicker.
  • Freight/LTL Shipments: DO NOT SIGN FOR THE SHIPMENT WITHOUT INSPECTING FOR ANY DAMAGE!
    • Inspect your merchandise immediately while the driver is on site. Take off the crate/packaging and check all sides of the shipment. If damage is present, please thoroughly notate this on the freight delivery paperwork the driver will have. Detail each and every piece of evidence of visible damage.
    • Take photos of any damage and call Portland Compressor while the driver is still on site - 800-542-8300
    • FAILURE TO INSPECT AND COUNT YOUR SHIPMENT OR NOTATE ANY DAMAGES/SHORTAGES ON THE DELIVERY SLIP WILL WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO ANY CLAIM, REPLACEMENT OR REIMBURSEMENT
