The 39492558 blowdown valve is a 2-way 3SV solenoid valve. Connects back to the separator which allows the oil resevoir to be depressurized. The Ingersoll Rand 39492558 blowdown valve bleeds off sump/separator vessel pressure when the compressor goes into the unload mode. This depressurizes the system so the compressor is not at full pressure when not running loaded.
