Ingersoll Rand 22124085 OEM Blowdown Solenoid Valve for UP6 Rotary Screw Compressors

The Ingersoll Rand 22124085 solenoid valve is often called a blowdown valve. The blowdown valve bleeds off sump/separator vessel pressure when the compressor goes into the unload mode. This depressurizes the system so the compressor is not at full pressure when not running loaded.
