The Powerex OTD1514 duplex 10hp oil free air compressor utilizes (2) 5hp compressor pumps to displace 36.4cfm. This compressor runs on 230v single phase power and is mounted on a 120 gallon horizontal air receiver. The Powerex duplex reciprocating tank mounted compressors are perfect for any application where clean dry air is required with integrated backup. The OTD Series Powerex Duplex Air Compressors have been designed and tested to meet the most demanding specifications for reliability in the pneumatic oil-free industry.

The OTD1514 is an extremely reliable compressor that features high quality construction and components. An unloading feature is included to provide loadless starting. Powerex oilless pumps use composite piston technology, low compressor speeds and PTFE compression ring(s) at low maintenance costs. The self-lubricating composite piston technology – standard on all Powerex reciprocating compressors – increases ring life and reduces temperature providing reliability for years to come. The dual cooling pistons reduce operating temperatures and the corrosion resistant components and coatings extend ring and valve life. The OTD1514 10HP utilizes two OPT050 oil free compressor pumps.

This duplex air compressor package consists of two motor/compressor assemblies mounted on a single 120 gallon receiver tank. These are ideal reciprocating air compressors for instrumentation systems requiring an alternate compressor for standby or overload capacity. This style air compressor is desirable for a variety of reasons. When a duplex air compressor is alternated, the temperature of both compressors is kept above the ambient dew point to minimize moisture deterioration and corrosion. This still keeps temperatures low enough to prevent overheating on the motor and pump for increased life.

OTD1514 is pre-wired to run on 230v single phase power. Magnetic motor starters with overload protection is pre-installed with the alternator prior to shipping and wired based on your buildings power. The 120 gallon receiver tank is ASME rated.
