The throttle slowdown reduces the speed of the engine on gas driven air compressors. A properly installed throttle slowdown reduces fuel consumption and compressor wear when the upper pressure cut-out setpoint is reached.

There is an 1/8" NPT fitting that will connect directly to the center pilot/unloader valve located between the engine and the motor. The opposite end of the cable will attach directly to the Kohler engine's throttle valve behind the air filter. The throttle slowdown valve will expand and contract when the upper/lower pressure setpoints are reached which will cause the Honda engine to speed up or slow down accordingly.

This part is used on the Ingersoll Rand 2475F14GH gas compressor with the Kohler Command Pro engine.
