The Ingersoll Rand 2475 bare compressor pump is one of their most popular piston compressor models. This pump is most commonly used on their 5hp and 7.5hp air compressor models. The 2475 utilizes a durable 100% cast iron design with finned cylinders for improved cooling. The V-shape design allows for air to flow around each section of the cylinder wall. Ingersoll Rand utilizes a finned style intercooler between each cylinder as well, reducing the operating temperature of the air between the first stage and second stage of the pump. Reliable stainless steel reed valves optimized for increased volumetric efficiency and precision-balanced overhung crankshaft runs smoothly and quietly.
