The Ingersoll Rand 2475 bare compressor pump is one of their most popular piston compressor models. This pump is most commonly used on their 5hp and 7.5hp premium package air compressors. The 2475 utilizes a durable 100% cast iron design with finned cylinders for improved cooling. The V-shape design allows for air to flow around each section of the cylinder wall. Ingersoll Rand utilizes a finned style intercooler between each cylinder as well, reducing the operating temperature of the air between the first stage and second stage of the pump. Reliable stainless steel reed valves optimized for increased volumetric efficiency and precision-balanced overhung crankshaft runs smoothly and quietly.

Typically the 2475 pump that utilizes the low oil level switch will also have an air cooled aftercooler on the back of the beltguard and would come with an electronic auto drain pre installed on the receiver tank.
