Ingersoll Rand 2-2545E10-P is a premium package duplex air compressor that utilizes two 10hp pumps and motors and is mounted on a 120 gallon air receiver. This provides a total of 20hp. This compressor can be wired either 208v, 230v or 460v three phase power.

An alternator is pre-installed and wired with the compressor. Alternators are mounted and wired, in a NEMA-1 enclosure. Panel is both U.L. and CSA approved. The alternator panel allows both compressor units to operate in response to system air pressure demand. For example, if system pressure dips below the preset lower pressure limit, compressor “A” will automatically start. If pressure rises to the upper set point limit, compressor “A” will shut down. Next time system pressure drops below the preset lower pressure limit, compressor “B” will automatically start. Should system demand require, both compressor units will start automatically to meet and maintain system air pressure demand. 

The 2545 pump used on this compressor is a V-shape design. Unlike traditional inline pumps, the 2545 V shape design has an intercooler made of finned copper to provide maximum cooling area. It is located directly in the flywheel air blast to remove the heat of compression between stages keeping running temperatures lower while delivering air delivery for horsepower expended.

The 2-2545E10 duplex reciprocating compressor is mounted on a 120 gallon vertical air receiver that is ASME coded and includes a pressure gauge, ball valve and safety relief valve.

This 2545 duplex Ingersoll Rand reciprocating air compressor is their premium packaged version. Sometimes this model is displayed in their literature as 2-2545E10 PKG. IR's premium package 2545 compressors include:

• Air cooled aftercooler pre-installed on the back of the beltguard. This cools the air to within 25 degrees of ambient temperature prior to entering the receiver tank. This reduces the moisture and water content of the compressed air by about 70%.
• An automatic timed electronic tank drain is installed on the bottom of the air receiver. The drain removes any water from the receiver tank automatically, no longer requiring you to stick your hand under the tank daily to remove moisture.
• A low oil level shutdown switch installed on the face of the pump. This send a signal to turn off the motor if oil runs low in the pump, preventing the pump from seizing up.
