The new Chicago Pneumatic 5hp quient rotary screw air compressor model QRS 5.5 TM is a three phase durable rotary screw compressor mounted on a 60 gallon horizontal air receiver. This compressor will produce 18.1cfm @ 145psi.

Maintenance with this compressor is a breeze since the oil filter and separator are both spin-on filters. This is also one of the quietest compressors on the market and only displaces 62db(A) when fully loaded - it's designed to operating right on your shop floor, eliminating the need for an expensive compressor room with HVAC controls and noise dampeners.

The motor is a tri-voltage totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) main drive motor. This keeps dust and debris out of the motor windings and controls ensuring a long life. Since it's tri-voltage by design, it will work with any common 3 phase power found in the United States. It's pre-wired 230v/3/60hz, but can be converted to either 208v/3/60 or 460/3/60 in as little as 5 minutes.
