Ring / Gasket Kit for Ingersoll Rand 242 Piston Compressor Pump - 32194029

The 32198319 ring and gasket kit from Ingersoll Rand includes a complete set of piston rings, seals, and all necessary gaskets that should be replaced when breaking the unit down to replace the rings.

If you notice that your compressor is slow to build pressure or you see an excess amount of oil being sent downstream, typically the rings on the inside of the 242 compressor pump would need to be replaced. An instruction sheet is included with the purchase of this kit showing the proper order of how the rings should be installed. It is typically recommended to have a factory trained technician replace the rings.

Ring sets and gaskets are included for both the 1^st stage low pressure and 2^nd stage high pressure sides of the pump. Note that this kit does not include any valves.
