This Ingersoll Rand OEM inlet air filter element should be changed a minimum of once per year. It is advised to change the inlet filter more often If your compressor is located in a dirty environment with lots of dust. Changing the air filter will prolong the life of your compressor by preventing debris from getting inside the cylinders and pistons.
