The Ingersoll Rand UP6S-20-118 TAS is a 20hp rotary screw air compressor with integrated refrigerated air dryer. The UP6S-20-118 TAS will displace 78cfm at 118psi. This is a baseplate mounted compressor which can be installed with a separate air receiver tank at your facility.

The UP6S-20-118 TAS is Ingersoll Rand’s ‘Total Air System’ which includes a refrigerated air dryer pre-installed inside of the compressor cabinet. A moisture separator is mounted in-line before the dryer. This plug and play solution provides necessary air treatment in a simple, compact, and easy to install package.  

The enclosure is designed to manage the environment of the internal components and the cooling ventilation system, while also significantly reducing the sound level emitted from the machine into the installation environment. The complete package is designed to be located on an adequate flat floor without any special foundations and will operate without imparting significant vibrations to the installation.

The standard compressor has an integrally mounted NEMA 1 starter box with a hinged door panel. It contains starter contactors, overload relays and all the components of the control circuit. The star-delta starter is used to reduce the current inrush on starting.

XS65 Microprocessor Controller:

The compressor is monitored, controlled and protected by an intuitive XS65 Series controller. The controller continuously monitors the status of the compressor and takes immediate action if an abnormal operating condition occurs. The Event Log is a comprehensive listing of the most recent occurrences with Event Code and Run Hours. The Event Log contains details on the last 100 "events" in order of occurrence.

The UP6S-20 Total Air System compressor is wired in either 208v/3ph, 230v/3ph or 460v/3ph power. The standard configuration is 118psi however this can be preset to run at 143psi if desired upon ordering. Since this is a baseplate model it needs to be paired with a separate air receiver tank.
