The Ingersoll Rand R7.5i is a 10hp (7.5kW) rotary screw air compressor that runs on three phase power. The new Ingersoll Rand R-Series is a durable rotary screw compressor that offers benefits, innovative features, and a compact design that fits virtually any application environment. This compressor is pre-wired in either 208, 230, or 460v and can be mounted on an 80 or 120 gallon tank.

The rugged and reliable compression airend is contact cooled with a highly efficient asymmetrical profile rotor. The airend is vertically stacked which allows for easy maintenance and superior air/oil separation. This results in cleaner air being sent downstream with less pressure drop across air treatment, leading to a more energy efficient and clean compressed air system. The airend is paired with a IE3 premium energy-efficient motor to support continuous operation in harsh environments. The R5.5i fixed speed compressor is designed to handle 24/7/365 operation.

The main drive motor is exactly matched to the requirements of the compressor. Torque and shaft load requirements of the compressor were matched to design criteria that enabled the specified motor to develop peak efficiency and power factor at full load of the compressor package. Standard units are supplied with IP55 two pole motors, meeting or exceeding local efficiency rating requirements for totally enclosed fan cooled motors.
