The 23429798 air filter element was used on the RS55i, RS75i, RS55n and RS75n rotary screw air compressors manufactured by Ingersoll Rand. This filter is the high dust (non standard) filter element and requires the high dust filter housing to use.
This Ingersoll air filter element should be changed every 4,000 hours or once per year at a minimum. It is recommended to change the filter more often If your compressor is located in a dirty environment with lots of dust. Changing the air filter will prolong the life of your compressor by protecting the inlet and airend on the inside of the compressor. Proactively changing the air filter will also increase your energy efficiency by not restricting the inlet airflow going into the air compressor.
This is an OEM air filter element made by Ingersoll Rand. For confirmation this part is correct for your air compressor and that a high dust filter was not used, please feel free to call our parts department with your serial number.
