The Ingersoll Rand HE216E filter is a high efficiency element for the older style of Ingersoll Rand 2000 series HE216 filter assembly. This filter is also known as the Legacy 2000 series filter that was manufactured by IR in the early 2000’s. Typically the HE216 filter assembly utilized 1” NPT threads and was rated to 216cfm @ 100psi.

This element is only used in the HE216 filter housing. The HE series filter was a high efficiency oil removal filter. This filtered particles down to .01 micron and water/oil aerosols down to .01 mg/m3. This filter should always be preceded with a general purpose filter.

This filter was also included in several of the IRN30TAS and IRN40-TAS rotary screw air compressors with integrated air dryers manufactured before October 2008. This series of rotary compressor was known as the Total Air System model.

This is an OEM filter manufactured by Ingersoll Rand. Most filters sold online are aftermarket filters and are not rated to the same filtration efficiency as OEM. Please contact our parts department if you would like confirmation this will work with your air system.
