Ingersoll Rand Separator Element for EP15SE and EP-SE Compressors

The 39843693 separator element was most commonly used on the EP15SE, EP20SE, and EP25SE rotary screw compressors manufactured by Ingersoll Rand.

Ingersoll Rand recommends replacing the separator element every 8,000 run hours or once per year, whichever occurs first. The filter should also be changed anytime an oil change is performed. This removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your air dryer or production equipment.

This is an OEM part manufactured by Ingersoll Rand. Many filters sold online are aftermarket filters and not rated to the same specifications as OEM. Using aftermarket filters can result in excess oil being sent downstream into your production equipment.

When changing the separator element, it is also recommended to change the air filter and oil filter as well - 39907175 and 39588470.
