The 32278616 ring and gasket kit from Ingersoll Rand includes all items necessary to replace the internal rings on the 2420 bare compressor pump.

Included in this kit are both the low pressure and high pressure piston rings. Two flange gaskets are included to seal the cylinders to the compressor pump crankcase. An oil fill plug oring, frame end cover and copper washer are also in this kit.

An instruction sheet is included with the purchase of this kit showing the proper order of how the rings should be installed.

Typically the rings are replaced on a 2420 reciprocating compressor when oil is getting downstream from the compressor pump or the air compressor is slow to build pressure.
