The Ingersoll Rand 2475N7.5 460v is their most popular two stage air compressor. This compressor is the perfect choice for the weekend warrior who needs and industrial grade two stage compressor in their garage with three phase power, or for the large auto shop or commercial facility looking for maximum airflow from a 7.5hp air compressor. This compressor can operate on 460v three phase power.

The 2475 pump used on this compressor is a V-shape design. Unlike traditional inline pumps, the 2475V shape design has an intercooler made of finned copper to provide maximum cooling area. It is located directly in the flywheel air blast to remove the heat of compression between stages keeping running temperatures lower while delivering air delivery for horsepower expended.

Since the 2475N7.5 is a heavy duty compressor, an e-series magnetic motor starter is pre-wired and installed with this air compressor. Motor starters provide full voltage control of electric motors. They include thermal relays which protect the motor windings from harmful currents and resultant temperature rise caused by overloaded motor, low line voltage or stalled rotor. An on/off switch is also included.

The 2475N7.5 460v reciprocating compressor is mounted on an 80 gallon vertical air receiver that is ASME coded and includes a pressure gauge, ball valve and safety relief valve.
