The Graco 25M860 LazerVac 550 Vacuum System is a heavy-duty, gas-powered industrial vacuum engineered to deliver exceptional dust-collection performance for concrete surface-preparation professionals. Designed for large-scale scarifying, grinding, and marking-removal applications, the LazerVac 550 provides powerful suction, extended run time, and continuous dust containment — helping contractors achieve cleaner, safer, and more compliant jobsites.
This system is engineered to meet strict dust-control standards, reducing airborne silica dust when used with a scarifier, and is compatible with all Graco GrindLazer scarifiers as well as most standard scarifiers equipped with a vacuum port.
To ensure suction remains strong throughout extended use, the system incorporates a dual-paddle, automatic filter-cleaning mechanism. This feature continuously agitates dust from the filter surface while the vacuum is running, preventing clogging and maintaining optimal airflow. Coupled with the tool-less filter design, the LazerVac 550 provides dramatically simplified maintenance and eliminates the interruptions caused by traditional manual filter servicing routines.
Dust enters the system through a built-in cyclone filtration stage, which pre-separates large particles before they reach the filter cartridges or engine housing. This prolongs filter life, protects internal components, and ensures the system operates efficiently even under continuous heavy dust loads. For contractors working with aggressive cutters or grinding drums, this can mean the difference between a clean, productive workday and repeated equipment downtime.
When used with a GrindLazer scarifier, Graco’s LazerVac 550 System uses contactor preferred Honda power to provide 50% more vacuum pressure compared to LazerVac 330 to reduce airborne silica dust on larger scarifying jobs to help meet OSHA’s safety requirement for airborne silica dust.
