This is an OEM part from Chicago Pneumatic and includes both the filter housing and the internal filter element. This part number is sometimes shown as 2236-1128-35 or 2236 1128 35.

Although most commonly associated with Chicago Pneumatic air compressors, this same filter assembly is also used on Belair, Quincy Compressor, and NAPA air compressors below.

This Chicago Pneumatic air filter element should be changed every 2,000 hours or once per year depending on the compressor usage. Air filters should be changed on a more frequent basis If your compressor is located in a dirty environment with lots of dust. Changing the air filter will prolong the life of your compressor by protecting the critical parts on the inside of the compressor. Proactively changing the air filter will also increase your energy efficiency by not restricting the inlet airflow going into the air compressor.
