The QRS 30 125 is a rugged, rotary screw compressor that combines proven design with superior performance. Ideal for heavy automotive and industrial applications, the QRS is built to support the most demanding requirements. The base mount model can save vital floor space and provide a continuous supply of quality compressed air. Installation into every application is quick and easy – connect your supply power from the disconnect to the electrical panel, install your discharge piping and you’ll have instant access to high quality compressed air. This specific QRS 30 is a base mount model and can be paired with a separate receiver tank or refrigerated air dryer. The QRS30 compressor is designed for 100% continuous duty and can support the most demanding air requirements. This means it can run 100% loaded 24 hours a day.

The motor is a tri voltage totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motor. This makes for extremely simple installations for buildings that have a three phase power supply. The compressor is pre-shipped wired 230/3/60hz power, but can be easily changed over to 460v or 208v three phase. Since the motor is totally enclosed, this results in less debris being pulled into the bearings and windings for a longer life.

Maintenance and any service work is simple on the QRS compressor line line. The oil filter and separator elements are spin-on filters for easy removal and installation. The air filter can be replaced in just a few seconds. Since this model includes a dust protection enclosure, the inside of the compressor stays clean to increase life and performance. The dust enclosure doubles as a sound a sound attenuation device which lowers the decibel level to 70dBA, making this one of the quietest compressors on the market. An integrated air cooled aftercooler combined with a cooler operation results in less moisture buildup and less moisture downstream in your production equipment.

ES4000 Connect Microprocessor Controller:

The ES4000 Connect controller manages the QRS30 with air dryer. The ES4000 connect offers a clear display that is easy to use. Even better: thanks to Chicago Pneumatic's ICONS software, you don’t even need to walk over to your compressor to monitor and control its performance. You can check pressure, temperature, running hours and operating mode on any computer or mobile device. You can even start/stop your 30 horsepower air compressor, set a week timer and pressure band using Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.

The controller can sense when you are not using air and will shut the compressor off. When system air pressure drops, the compressor will automatically power on. This saves on energy without sacrificing air production in the plant. The ES4000 controller makes operation simple with warning and service alarms to help prevent any unexpected shutdowns.

The ES4000 Connect controller operates the compressor in load/unload mode. This operation is much more energy efficient than modulation controls used by other rotary screw air compressor manufacturers.
