The QRS 25 125 TM is a heavy duty, rotary screw compressor that combines proven design with superior performance. The motor is a tri voltage totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motor. This makes for extremely simple installations for buildings that have a three phase power supply. The compressor is pre-shipped wired 230/3/60hz power, but can be easily changed over to 460v or 208v three phase. Since the motor is totally enclosed, this results in less debris being pulled into the bearings and windings for a longer life.
Maintenance and service work is simple on the QRS compressor line. The oil filter and separator filter elements are spin on filters for easy removal and installation. The air filter can be replaced in just a few seconds. Since this model includes a dust protection enclosure, the inside of the compressor stays clean to increase life and performance. The dust enclosure doubles as a sound a sound attenuation device which lowers the decibel level to 68dBA, making this one of the quietest compressors on the market. An integrated air cooled aftercooler combined with a cooler operation results in less moisture buildup and less moisture downstream in your production equipment.
The QRS 25 tank mount model is managed by the ES4000 microprocessor controller, an electronic control unit programmed for energy saving operation with intelligent shutdown. The ES4000 controller makes operation very simple with warning and service alarms. This microprocessor controller features icon based display with pressure and temperature readings for easy monitoring. It also displays running hours, unload hours, and keeps track of maintenance requirements. Automatic restart after voltage failure is also included as standard. This intelligent controller will shut the compressor down if running unloaded for a set period of time to save on energy cost. This load/unload style of control method can save thousands of dollars per year in electrical cost compared to outdated modulation technology that many other compressor manufacturers still use.
