The QRS 15HP is managed by the ES4000 Basic microprocessor controller. This is an electronic controller that is programmed to save on energy costs with an intelligent shutdown. The ES4000 controller operates the compressor in load/unload mode with is much more energy efficient than modulation controls used on some rotary screw air compressors. If the controller senses you are not using air, it will shut the compressor off and turn it back on when the air pressure drops - saving on energy without sacrificing air production in the plant. The ES4000 controller makes operation simple with warning and service alarms to help prevent any unexpected shutdowns.
AirCare is also included with this QRS compressor. With AirCare, compressor control and monitoring are always within reach. The motor is a tri-voltage totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) main drive motor. This keeps dust and debris out of the motor windings and controls ensuring a long life. Since it's tri-voltage by design, it will work with any common 3 phase power found in the United States. It's pre-wired 230v/3/60hz, but can be converted to either 208v/3/60 or 460/3/60 in as little as 5 minutes.
