Chicago Pneumatic 1089063716 Temperature Shutdown Switch

1089063716 is a high air temperature shutdown switch used on a variety of Chicago Pneumatic and Atlas Copco air compressors. This item sends a signal to the compressor to shut down the compressor when the air/oil temperature gets to hot.

This switch shuts down the unit to prevent the rotary screw compressor from overheating. This connects to the bottom of the airend and sends a signal to the electrical canopy to shut down the compressor if the air/oil mixture rises above the shutdown setpoint.

This item is commonly known as the HAT switch or temperature switch.
