The Ingersoll Rand OEM 32496093 beltguard clip is used to help secure the front and back beltguards together. This ensures stability of the beltguard and prevents rattling from occuring. 32496093 is used on several of their single stage and two stage reciprocating air compressors. This was most common on their wire-mesh style guards.
