Ingersoll Rand Vent Cap Breather for the SS3 and SS5 Piston Air Compressors

The vent frame breather cap is used on the SS3 and SS5 single stage reciprocating air compressors from Ingersoll Rand. This breather is located on the backside of the pump near the flywheel. The breather vent relieves air pressure on the inside of the crankcase during the compression process so the crankcase assembly that holds the oil does not become pressurized.

This is a plastic cap that threads directly into the backside of the pump.
