Atlas Copco OEM 1310031145 Temperature Switch

1310031145 is a high air temp shutdown switch. This item sends a signal to the compressor to shut down the compressor when the air/oil temperature gets to hot. This is an OEM part and may be displayed in your parts manual as 1310 0311 45 or 1310-0311-45.

This switch shuts down the unit to prevent the rotary screw compressor from overheating. Many times this is due to the thermal valve overheating and not letting the oil flow through the cooler. If your cooler is not warm and the compressor continues to shut down intermittently, we would recommend replacing the thermal valve.

This item is commonly known as the HAT switch or temperature switch. It threads into the airend/sump next to the separator and has wires that trace back to the electrical panel.
