Summit Syngear PG-220 Synthetic Gear and Bearing Lubricant, ISO 220 Polyglycol-Based Lubricant Oil
Summit Syngear PG-220 gear and bearing lubricant is an ISO 220 synthetic polyglycol-based lubricant. This has better wear protection, thermal and oxidation stability, and reduced sludge and deposit formation when compared to petroleum-based lubricants. For use in enclosed gear, bearings, and compressors where conditions demand the unique properties of these fluids.
Product Benefits:
- Synthetic polyglycol PAG extreme temperature gear oils formulated for use in enclosed gearboxes, bearings and compressors
- Reduced sludge and deposit formation for enhanced equipment performance
- Low temperature pumpability and fluidity
- Less input power consumption through reduced friction
- Fortified with oxidation inhibitors as well as anti-wear/EP additives to pass the highest stages of the FZG test
- Excellent low temperature flow characteristics
- Excellent high temperature stability and flash points
- Maximum protection against rust, wear, corrosion and foaming
- Multipurpose industrial equipment capability to reduce inventory costs and less chance for cross contamination
Where to Use:
- Developed for the lubrication of enclosed gears and heavily loaded plain or roller element bearings and compressors
- Recommended for heavily loaded low speed gears and bearings
- Designed for gearboxes that operate under excessively high temperatures
Syngear PG Series lubricants are incompatible with petroleum oils. Care should be taken to make sure the two types of fluids are not mixed.
