The Powerex STS10B5 is a 10hp oil free scroll air compressor that is mounted on a 200 gallon receiver tank. The STS10B5 displaces 31.2cfm and runs on three phase power. The Powerex 200 gallon scroll tank mounted air compressors are perfect for any application where clean dry air is required. Scroll compressors are completely oil-less so there is no risk of oil or coolant contamination downstream – this means less maintenance required, less filtration is needed, and there is no need for oil-water separators – all resulting in a more environmentally friendly operation.

The Powerex Oilless Rotary Scroll Air Compressor has advanced scroll compressor technology through the development of a completely oilless unit. The Powerex Scroll Compressor offers a dynamically balanced air end which insures vibration-free operation. The rotary design permits a continuous 100% duty cycle. No oil separation, oil filtration, or inlet valves are required on the Powerex scroll compressor.

The STS10B5 is mounted on a 200 gallon horizontal receiver tank. The tank is equipped with a pressure gauge, safety relief valve, discharge shutoff valve and a receiver drain. The larger tank results in less cycling of the compressor motor and more air available during peak demand. An air cooled aftercooler is included to lower the discharge temperature of the compressed air. This results in ~70% less moisture getting downstream. An electronic timer drain is installed on the receiver tank to automatically drain any condensate from the tank.

This model is available in 208v, 230v and 460v three phase power. A magnetic motor starter with overload protection is pre-installed prior to shipping and wired based on your buildings power.
