Ingersoll Rand 54509427 OEM Separator Element Filter for Rotary Compressors

The 54509427 separator element was most commonly used on several of Ingersoll Rand's larger rotary screw air compressors. This is an OEM part manufactured by Ingersoll Rand. Many filters sold online are aftermarket filters and not rated to the same specifications as OEM. Using aftermarket filters can result in excess oil being sent downstream into your production equipment.

Ingersoll Rand recommends replacing the separator element every 4,000 run hours or once per year, whichever occurs first. The filter should also be changed anytime an oil change is performed. This removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your air dryer or production equipment.
