24242265 is a replacement filter element for the FA490IG inline filter manufactured by Ingersoll Rand. This filter fits their newer F series cast filters. 24242265 fits the FA490IG housing and the replacement element does include a housing o-ring for a reduced leak rate.

FA490IG is a general purpose particulate filter. This is used to remove dust, debris and particles from the airstream down to .1 micron. This also removes oil aerosol contents down to 0.1mg/m3.

The F series filters are designed for easy replacement compared to competitive filters. They feature a no-touch element replacement for faster and cleaner maintenance. The entire assembly also requires minimal clearance for bowl removal.
