The 32319451 overhaul kit from Ingersoll Rand is used on their 2340 piston/reciprocating air compressor pump. This kit contains all items needed to full rebuild or overhaul this air compressor. 

This item contains the complete valve/gasket kit which has all parts needed to replace the valves and top end gaskets. Parts are included for both the high pressure and low pressure heads. Piston rings for the low pressure and high pressure pistons are also included. 

In additional to all required valves, rings and gaskets, bearings, piston rods and all seals are in this kit.

Typically a valve and gasket kit would be needed if your compressor does not build air pressure. If you hear the safety valve popping on the low pressure cylinder head, this means that your valves are bad and need to be replaced as well. An instructional sheet is included that displays how each part goes together. The rings are replaced on a 2545 reciprocating compressor when oil is getting downstream from the compressor pump or the air compressor is slow to build pressure.
