The 22260046 filter dryer from Ingersoll Rand is used in the refrigeration circuit on the integrated air dryers in a UP6 40 and 50hp compressor. Despite a controlled vacuum in the refrigeration cycle, traces of moisture can still accumulate. The 22260046 filter dryer absorbs this moisture to ensure the longevity of the refrigeration compressor and components.
The filter was used on the following Ingersoll Rand air compressors with integrated air dryers. It was also used on some of their stand alone TS dryers.
