The 6221372550 separator element is used on the Chicago Pneumatic QRS30 and CPVS30 rotary screw air compressors, both with and without integrated air dryers. The part number is sometimes displayed in the manuals as 6221 3725 50 or 6221-3725-50.

Your parts manual may also tell you to order item number 6229030300. Part # 6229030300 supersedes to this 6221372550. Purchasing this item would be correct if your manual states to order a 6229 0303 00.

This is an OEM part made by Chicago Pneumatic compressors. This filter was also commonly used on several Atlas Copco, NAPA, and Quincy air compressors.

When changing the separator, it is also best practices to change your compressor oil, oil filter, and air filter. The most common oil filter is part number 6211472250, the most common air filter is 6211472350. Rotair Plus oil is typically used in these compressors, however we recommend confirming this is the correct oil for your compressor.

A separator element should be changed every 4,000 hours or a minimum of once per year. This removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your air dryer or production equipment.
