The 6229030300 oil separator element is used on the Chicago Pneumatic QRS30HP manufactured prior to November 2018. This filter was also used on some of their CPVS30 variable speed compressors. The part number is sometimes displayed in the manuals as 6229 0303 00 or 6229-0303-00

This is an OEM part made by Chicago Pneumatic compressors. This filter was also commonly used on several Atlas Copco, NAPA, and Quincy air compressors. Please note that there are several different separator elements used by Chicago Pneumatic on the QRS 30 rotary screw compressor. Please contact us to ensure this is correct for your compressor.

A separator element should be changed every 4,000 hours or a minimum of once per year. This removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your air dryer or production equipment.
