The Chicago Pneumatic 6211 4736 00 is an OEM air filter housing used on the QRS3.0HP, QRS5.0HP and the QRS7.5HP rotary screw air compressors manufactured after July of 2008. This part is sometimes listed as 6211473600 and 6211-4736-00. Note this part is not the internal element but the entire filter assembly that connects to your inlet valve.

This is an OEM part made by Chicago Pneumatic Air Compressors. This filter was also commonly used on the Atlas Copco small GX series of air compressors and several Quincy compressors.

This air filter element should be changed every 2,000 hours. This filter should be changed on a more frequent basis If your compressor is located in a dirty environment with lots of dust. Changing the air filter will prolong the life of your compressor by protecting the critical parts on the inside of the compressor. Proactively changing the air filter will also increase your energy efficiency by not restricting the inlet airflow going into the air compressor.
