The motor is a tri-voltage totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) main drive motor. This keeps dust and debris out of the motor windings and controls ensuring a long life. Since it's tri-voltage by design, it will work with any common 3 phase power found in the United States. It's pre-wired 230v/3/60hz, but can be converted to either 208v/3/60 or 460/3/60 in as little as 5 minutes.
