The Atlas Copco 2901300402 UD+ 15 filter element kit is an OEM replacement coalescing element designed to remove oil and particulate contamination from compressed air. This part number may be shown in your parts manual as 2901 3004 02.

Your actual filter element may be stamped with part # 1629 0542 02 which now supersedes to this item 2901 3004 02. 

The UD+ filter is a two-in-one filtration design combines the functions of a general-purpose DD+ filter and a high-efficiency PD+ filter into a single element. This helps reduce installation space and pressure loss compared with using two separate filtration stages.

The UD+ element removes liquid oil, microscopic oil aerosols, wet dust and entrained water droplets from the compressed-air stream. Wet particulate contamination may include fine dirt, rust, pipe scale, compressor wear debris and other solid particles carried by oil or moisture. The coalescing media captures small liquid aerosols and combines them into larger droplets so they can drain from the filter housing rather than continuing downstream into dryers, valves, pneumatic tools and production equipment.

Compatibility notice: Atlas Copco part 2901300402, also formatted as 2901 3004 02, is only used with UD-series UD+15 filter housings manufactured before 2021. This older-style element has two O-rings at the top that seal against the filter housing. It does not have the curved inlet connection found on the newer-style Atlas Copco UD filter elements. Verify the housing manufacture date and compare the element connection style before ordering.
