Graco OEM 235474 Gun Repair Packing Kit for Silver amd Flex Plus Airless Guns

This rebuild kit is used to replace the needle and internal packing's on the Graco Silver Plus, Silver Plus HP, and Flex Plus™ airless spray guns. Note for the older style Flex and SIlver guns you will want to purchase item 218143

How to replace the needle on a Graco Silver Plus and Flex Plus spray gun:

Relieve all pressure in the sprayer, gun and hose
Engage the trigger lock.
Remove the tip and guard and disconnect the gun from the fluid hose.
Flush the gun with cleaning fluid. See your sprayer instructions for the flushing procedure.
Unscrew the diffuser/seat and remove.
Unscrew the pivot pin from the screw and remove the trigger.
Insert a punch into the rear of the gun to tap out the needle.
Clean the internal passages from the gun.
Grease the o-rings of the new needling using a non-silicon grease.
Guide the new needle into the gun -NOTE: An insertion tool is provided in your needle kit. This tool helps prevent damage to the needle. Position the insertion tool from the kit over one end of the needle. Tap the end of the tool using a non-sparking hammer until the needle is securely in place.
Grease the tip of the new needle.
Grease the threads of the diffuser/seat. Place a gasket on the seat/diffuser.
Screw the diffuser/seat onto the gun nozzle. Torque to 20-25 ft-lb (27-34 N•m). Models with a working pressure rated for 7250 psi (500 bar, 50 MPa) torque to 30-35 ft-lb (41-48 N•m).
Slide the trigger into place and attach with the pivot pin and screw.
Attach the tip and guard and attach the gun to the fluid hose.
