An electronic air compressor tank drain connects to the bottom of your receiver tank and automatically discharges water from your air compressor tank. This prevents you from needing to drain your tank manually on a daily basis and prevents corrosion.

There are two timer settings with adjustable knobs included. The first setting tells the tank drain how often it should open per hour. The second setting tells the drain how long to stay open in seconds when the interval is reached. An LED light indicates on/off status.

A strainer/filter is included with the automatic compressor drain as well. This should be installed on the inlet side of the drain. The strainer is cleanable and prevents debris from clogging the drain valve. To clean the strainer, simply close the ball valve to close off flow of compressed air, and manually actuate timer to relieve pressure from drain to ball valve.

The tank drain includes a 110v power cord which plugs into any standard 15 amp 115v wall outlet.
