Can hoses be attached together?Yes, through quick release couplers, you can connect hoses together. Keep in mind however that for each additional 50' of hose, you will lose approximately 50 PSI.

What size of tips should I use with what jobs?
  • 0° Red - Used for extremely difficult stains and tough dirt.
  • 15° Yellow - Chiseling Nozzle, Can strip paint, grease, and grime from hard surfaces.
  • 25° Green - Flushing Nozzle, Most commonly used for flushing dirt from sidewalks, metal furniture, and other surfaces, as well as sweeping wet leaves.
  • 40° White - Good for cleaning a large area fast. Usually good for cleaning surfaces such as aluminum siding and vehicles (from a distance).
When I am done with my job, what is the best way to store my pressure washer?Please see our Pressure Washer Maintenance section.
What is the average space that should be given from the nozzle to the surface?This will depend on the surface being sprayed. If you are cleaning your sidewalk or cement, the industry average is about 6", however you are able to get closer depending on the amount of dirt.
For houses, it is usually best to stand about 5 feet away, and slowly come closer to the surface, then stop at a distance that removes the dirt, but not the paint.
What are the telescoping wands that I have been hearing about?Telescoping wands are extension wands that range anywhere from 6' to 24'. They are great for use on roofs and ceilings. They also do a great job of keeping the person spraying further away from the surface, keeping them dry and away from the flying debris
What is PSI?PSI Stands for Pounds per Square Inches. This is a measure of the amount of pressure being applied to the surface at one time
Why are my nozzles clogging?Nozzles usually get clogged because some form of debris has been passed through the system. When nozzles get clogged, it is necessary to remove the clog immediately. Clogs decrease the flow of pressure, which can cause a backup in the pump, ultimately causing damage of ruining the pump.
Can I leave fuel in the gas tank for long periods of time?For shorter periods of time, the answer is yes. For longer periods of time, it is necessary to either purchase a fuel stabilizer or drain the fuel. During transport, you should almost always drain the fuel to prevent spills from the tank.
How long can I leave the washer on without triggering the gun?The general answer is no longer than a minute. When the trigger is not pulled, the water will cycle through the pump, and the heat from the pump will cause the water to heat, which can ultimately burn and melt the internal components of the washer.
My washer hose has a puncture, how do I repair this?You don't! Keep in mind that many of these washers can be up to 3000+ PSI. Trying to repair a high pressured hose can create a great amount of safety hazards and risks. Ultimately, you need to purchase a new hose.
If I have a hot water supply, can I run it through my pump?No. Hot water pressure washers are specifically designed for hot water use. If you have a cold water machine, running water through the machine at a greater temperature than 140 can damage the pump, and cause serious defects to the washer.
What is a sidewalk scrubber?A sidewalk scrubber, also known as a "Whirl a Way" is a device used to clean flat surfaces quickly.
