Powerex’s SBS10B7 is a 7.5hp oil-free rotary scroll air compressor rated to displace 23.1cfm. Oil free scroll baseplate air compressors are perfect for any application where clean dry air is required. Scroll compressors are 100% oil-free so there is no risk of contamination downstream. Less maintenance required, less filtration is needed, and there is no need for oil-water separators – all resulting in a more environmentally friendly operation.

The Powerex oilless rotary scroll air compressor has advanced scroll compressor technology through the development of a completely oilless unit. The Powerex Scroll Compressor offers a dynamically balanced air end which insures vibration-free operation. The rotary design permits a continuous 100% duty cycle. No oil separation, oil filtration, or inlet valves are required on the Powerex scroll compressor. The tip seal on the scroll compressor is self-lubricated and allows the unit to operate efficiently without oil and expensive filtration.

The SBS10B7 is a baseplate mounted air compressor and does not include and air receiver. This space saving design limits the amount of floorspace required, letting you tie into a separate air receiver somewhere in the building. An air cooled aftercooler is included to lower the discharge temperature of the compressed air. This results in ~70% less moisture getting downstream.

This model is available in 208v, 230v and 460v three phase power. A magnetic motor starter with overload protection is pre-installed prior to shipping and wired based on your buildings power.

Two pressure setpoints are available on the SBS10B7 10hp compressor depending on your sites psi requirements. 116psi is the most common but this is also available in a 145psi configuration at an additional cost.
