The Pneumatech BA150 HE breathing air dryer assures safe working environment in a wide range of applications. Built to exceed standards, the BA150 HE provides certified breathing air, even in situations with polluted intake to ensure personnel safety at all times. The seven-filtration stages of the breathing air dryers have been carefully designed to make sure the air quality at the outlet complies with stringent international standards.
In addition to the required filtration, the BA150 HE has a built in desiccant air dryer. This dryer will lower the dew point of the air down to -40ºF. The dryer is equipped with a dew point sensor (PDP), extending the drying time and saving compressed air. The sensor constantly measures the atmospheric dew point of the air leaving the drying tower. As long as the dew point is below the set point (-40 °C), the drying tower will remain drying, until the dew point exceeds the set point. On that moment the regenerated tower will start drying the compressed air and the other tower will be regenerated.
The BA150 HE is a high efficiency breathing air system that has been designed for “plug and play”. Simply connect to your compressed air system, no additional air filtration or treatment is required. The BA HE 150 offers following stages of cleaning:
- A water separator (WS) to eliminate free water from the compressed air, thus ensuring good operation of the desiccant dryer.
- Coalescing filters to remove contaminating particles and oil droplets.
- A desiccant dryer to lower the pressure dew point (PDP) to -40 ˚C (-40 ˚F), liminating the risk of condensation and strongly reducing water-related problems like bacteria growth.
- The VT+ filter reduces hydrocarbons like oil vapour and smells to harmless levels and converts excessive concentrations of CO into CO2.
- A particle filter (MS filter) to eliminate particles that may have migrated out of the desiccant dryer.
