For inlet suction tube of Graco Magnum dx, XR5, XR7, and XR9 models

Inlet Strainers and Rock Guards are attached to the inlet tube of the paint sprayer, and prevent garbage and debris from entering into the pump.

Although it is possible to run the sprayer without the rock guard attached, you run the risk of causing debris to be suctioned into the pump, causing internal damage to the machine, which can result in hefty repair bills.
