The Ingersoll Rand 48778708 OEM reduction outlet tee is a reducing tee that is used to reduce the pipe size from 40mm 1.5” pipe to 20mm 3/4" piping. Two sides of the tee are for 40mm 1.5” piping and the drop portion is for 20mm 3/4” pipe. This is often used when the main header pipe is 1.5” to help with pressure distribution while reducing to 3/4” on the pipe drops.
Simplair piping has a maximum working pressure of 220psi. These are push fit style connections using nickel plated brass fittings and a high nitrile seal with stainless steel bite ring.
