The 32278657 valve and gasket kit contains all the parts needed to rebuild the valve plates for the 2420 bare piston compressor pumps. Parts are included for both the low pressure and high pressure side. Included in this kit are the reed valves with screws/nuts, the high and low pressure head gaskets, and the valve plate o-rings.

32278657 will work with the bare electric 2420 pump as well as the gasoline driven pumps. Note this will only work with the 2420 pump and not the 2475 compressor.

If your compressor is slow to build air, does not build air, or continually blows the safety valve on the low pressure cylinder, more than likely you need to replace the internal reed valves.
