Ingersoll Rand 24279135 Hydraulic Oil Cooler Hose for UP6 5-15C with JIC Fittings

Ingersoll Rand Replacement Thermal Valve and Oil Cooler Hose for UP6 5-15C – 24279135

This is a replacement oil and air hose that goes from the side of the thermal valve housing to the top of the air/oil cooler Ingersoll Rand UP6 5hp thru 15hp rotary screw air compressors. This hose is used on all of the smaller UP6 series compressors 15hp and below manufactured after October of 2008. There is an elbow fitting that sits off the right side of the manifold block with two JIC ends. This hose attached to the bottom end of the TEE and routes up to the oil cooler.

The left side of the hose is a female JIC elbow that attaches to the bottom end of the Tee on the thermal valve housing. The right side of the hose is a straight JIC fitting with female threads that will attach to the male fitting on the air oil cooler. This is also the same hose that goes from the top of the thermal valve elbow down to the bottom of the oil filter.

For rotary compressors manufactured before October of 2018, this hose was shown as part # 85559144. This was a hydraulic style hose that was black rubber. The new part number for this is item # 24279135 which is a stainless steel braided hydraulic hose. If your parts manual shows the item # as 85559144, then purchasing 24279135 would be correct for your compressor. Although the hose looks different, this newer steel braided hose is a direct replacement and a more durable style than the old hydraulic hoses.

Ingersoll Rand recommends replacing this item every 8,000 hours of operation to ensure your UP6 rotary compressor does not leak oil.
