This is a 1.2 gallon/5 liter container of Rotair Screwguard Food Grade compressor oil specifically used in rotary screw air compressors. Industries that rely on compressed air to make products which are not allowed to be contaminated by oil, require a food-grade lubricant. Specifically, industries that have a 0% tolerance for non-food-grade lubricants. If incidental contact occurs between the compressed air (containing oil vapors) and the end product, it will not result in harmful product contamination. This oil is specifically designed for use in the food and beverage industry for customers who are not using oil free compressed air. This is also common within the pharmaceutical industry.
